Japanese immigration saga is an American story. People searching for an opportunity and a dream is at the heart and soul of each American immigrant. Even a thinnest and slightest hope can trigger a great dream. Our forefather reached out for this dream and arrived in America. Japan Fair, while sharing traditional and modern Japanese arts and culture, tout a vision and experience of our predecessor. Japan Fair is very proud of Japanese American assimilation and contribution to the Pacific Northwest community and culture.

In America, economic activities on Hawaiian Island and the west-coast expansion activities welcomed Japanese immigrants to America.

At Japan Fair 2026, with backing of 4Culture Heritage Program, a discussion of Japanese immigration and its impact on the Pacific Northwest society and communities by expert panelists will be shared. Panelists are experienced on the subject and the historical data are shared by educational community.
The Heritage Program will be held at the Bellevue Meydenbauer Center at 5:30 to 7:00 PM, on June 26, 2026. Admission is free for all participants.
